Everything possible is done to keep guests and employees safe. Home Sweet Home on the Range is a very large space and everyone is asked to wear masks and to social distance. At this time, events are not planned where this is not possible. We encourage people to be out doing things they enjoy, but acknowledge the need to continue to be cautious and protect ourselves and others.
OKLAHOMA ARTISTS BOB PALMER, MEL MILLIGAN AND DEB LAPRAIRIE
Art, oil, acrylic, photography, pencil, wood, ceramic, glass, jewelry, bullet ware, leather, alcohol ink, prints, fiber and Oklahoma themed products
We are working to add art and music events here at the Market. If you are an artist who would like to have an opening to show your work and meet your clientele, come in and see our great space. If you are a musician looking for a place to play, keep us in mind.
First Saturday of each month; 1-4P
Bring your acoustical instrument and join in or come and enjoy the music. Masks requested and plenty of room for social distancing.
We are now offering space and help with promotion to artists and crafters who would like to instruct a class. The artist decides the project, provides the materials, determines the time and collects the fee. Space available Wed. - Sat. 10a to 6p. Details of scheduled classes will be posted here.
Guthrie is the history capital of Oklahoma. From capital of the Oklahoma Territory, the land run of '89, and the first state capital, to one of the largest historic preservation districts in the nation, there's something interesting around every corner. Take a trolley tour, a self guided walking tour or rent a bike and learn about the settling of the wild west.
Downtown Guthrie has always been known for antiquing, but it has so much more. Home Sweet Home on the Range's OK and art market, the Art Center, yarn shop, glass studio, farm stores, art galleries, bike shop, coffee/candy shops and boutiques make for a fun, shopping experience. All within walking distance by way of our red brick sidewalks.
Come for an event and stay a day or a weekend. 89'R Days, Blue Grass Festival, Territorial Christmas, Red Brick Nights, Jeep Fest, The Haunts, rodeos, and live theater and music are just a few of the events going on almost every weekend. If you are a "maker," find a class at one of our many studios; yarn, fabric, pottery, jewelry, painting, weaving, spinning, etc.
One of the best things about Home Sweet Home on the Range is that if you don't see what you are looking for, you can custom order from many of the artists. We promote Oklahoma arts and crafts and love being part of The Arts in Guthrie (TAG) Cultural District. Shop local, shop small and support Oklahoma businesses and Historic Guthrie,
Have your special event in the midst of Oklahoma art. Park your car and walk our red brick sidewalks to popular restaurants, the Pollard Theater, shopping, bed and breakfasts, museums and events.
